Customize a Stock Table with a Base

Rare Finds offers an array of tops and materials suited to a wide range of décors and lifestyles. We receive new containers and shipments every week, so our selection is always dynamic and diverse. From reclaimed 30-year-old oak that started out as semi-trailer flooring, sourced here in Denver, to monkey wood from Thailand, every table top has a story. You can custom select the table you want by choosing from our variety of stock table tops and bases.
Our tables are made from a myriad of woods like mango, acacia, Indian rose wood, reclaimed teak, or live-edge wood slabs that include kiln-dried 2-3″ thick black walnut, red elm, cedar, or cottonwood.

Custom Build Your Table

We make our custom size tables from both new and reclaimed semi-truck flooring, aka durable oak. The new oak is unmarred and even-colored. The old oak comes with all the character you’d expect from reclaimed wood or we can clean it up for you to give it a more refined contemporary feel. You simply select the size, the style and the stain color you desire and then complement it with a wood, iron or steel base of your choosing.
We can also build custom coffee tables, benches, islands, counter-tops, and 36”, 48” and 60” round tops.
We not only build-to-order for your personal residential spaces but consider us for any of your commercial needs. We can custom build for office spaces, waiting rooms, conference centers, restaurants, schools, bars and hotels

Add a Base to Your Table

Rare Finds carries table bases in a variety of materials and styles, such as industrial cast iron, steel and wood.

In fact, we have the largest selection of industrial cast-iron bases available in the region. The sand-cast iron table bases we source have been handcrafted the same way in India for centuries. We also have industrial crank bases that allow you to easily adjust your table from dining to bar height, as well as custom steel bases built from upcycled steel I-beams sourced from old semi-trailers. And if you prefer a wooden base to go with your table top, we can make one to fit.

Bringing Your Custom Table Home

Once you order your table, it typically takes six to eight weeks to construct and finish. We offer on-site pick-up as well as delivery to all areas in Colorado. Because of the size and weight of many pieces, white-glove delivery is an added convenience. For our out-of-state customers, we offer nationwide delivery. One of my guys has offices in 32 parts of India. His teams go door to door asking if people want to sell their old unique things. Everything gets gathered at each office, then truckloads go back to Jodhpur where they repurpose it all.  He also gets first right of refusal on demolished buildings — beams, flooring, doors, windows, all the architectural salvage gets transported back. They even dismantle old ships and take the flooring to repurpose into furniture or new flooring.  Nothing gets wasted. In the factories, they reuse and repurpose everything. Not a single piece of wood goes unused.
