The vintage and antique pieces at Rare Finds sit in a different sourcing channel than the new production work. These are objects that predate Tony’s workshop relationships — things he finds at antique markets, estate sales, or through dealers in the countries he travels.
You’ll find antique industrial carts with cast iron wheels and original wood plank surfaces, the kind that moved product through factories in the early 20th century. Vintage metal locker units in configurations that were standard in Eastern European schools and workshops through the mid-century period. Wooden prayer cabinets from India where the interior is lined with original painted panels.
Age is visible. Wear is real. These aren’t pieces finished to look old — the distress is structural, not decorative. A locker unit with dented doors and surface rust on the hinges is that way because it was actually used. That’s the point.
Authenticity claims on vintage and antique pieces are always honest at Rare Finds. If Tony isn’t certain of the age, he says so. Come in and ask specific questions — he or his staff will tell you what they actually know.
